One day I was scrolling through my facebook and this ad for custom shampoo popped up in my feed! Basically it prompted me to take the hair quiz, list some of my areas for improvement, and they would create a formula designed just for me! The branding was on point and truth be told I had seen a few influencers promoting it on their pages - so I thought WHY NOT! I filled out my profile and listed the areas I wanted addressed. The website was well laid out and only took a few minutes to complete!

The colour and fragrance are also customizable - even the fragrance strength can be selected! This feature is so unique, I loved that the colour and scent are independent. You have the ability to select your favourite colour and not be confined to the corresponding fragrance. I picked the orange/peach colour, I just think its so bright and trendy - the perfect pick me up from the “winter blah” mood! The fragrance I selected was peach (because I am a crazy pants that likes my fragrance to match my colour) and then I selected the medium amount of scent. When I received the product I LOVED the smell and colour, this was probably the best part of the whole experience for me.

The hair goals I selected were - colour protection, volumize and oil control (shown above as step 2 of the 4 step website quiz). At this point in time I can comfortably say this product met all of my goals! Typically my hair is QUITE oily the day after I wash it, but I did see a noticeable improvement in the oiliness of my hair compared to my usual drug store shampoo. I also found my hair to be more bouncy and fluffy - which I think is likely a combination of the oil control and volumizing properties. I will need to follow up on colour control in a few months after using the product, but I will say it did not leave my hair colour looking dull - which I find is sometimes the case even after one use of drug store shampoo.
