Tesla All-Weather Mat Review
We have had our Tesla Medel Y for about two weeks and I absolutely love it! One of the best accessories we have bought is hands down our Tesmanian all weather mats (linked below).
I can’t imagine making it through a Canadian winter without them, they keep all the snow and slush off the felt lining, and can easily be removed and washed. Watch my full review and install in the video below, and read on to hear more about these great mats!
When I bought the mats the delivery time was about a two week wait, I’m happy to report we received our mats within about a week of ordering (perfect timing as they arrived the day before we picked up our car)! They came well packaged, each mat had it’s own plastic wrapping, no damage upon arrival.
Over first inspection I did notice a few wrinkles in the rubber. A disclaimer note was included that each mat would need about 24-72hours to settle in place before those crinkles would start to relax. Beyond this period a heat gun (or blow dryer) could be used to further assist in smoothing the product to it’s original manufactured shape.
My one complaint in the full unboxing was the smell, because these are a rubber product, there was an apparent chemical smell to the mats. Not a huge concern in the grand scheme of things, but it does take away a bit of that “new car smell”.
The installation process was quick and simple. These are sturdy mats with some sharp edges MAKE SURE you take your time and are careful not to scratch your car as you slid them into place.
